 Ingredients You’ll Need for Dhokla Sandwich Recipe  

Yellow lentils (toor dal) Onions Tomatoes Garlic Ginger Chili - red , green  Curry leave , coriander Turmeric ,Cumin , muster seed Garam masala , red chili powder

Prepare The Tempering  For Dal Fry

In a pan, heat ghee or oil. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, garlic, and ginger to create a flavorful tempering.

Add Onions & Tomatoes  For Richness

Sauté onions until golden brown, then add chopped tomatoes. Cook until they soften and blend into a rich, tangy sauce.

Spice It Up With Turmeric  & Garam Masala

Add turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala to the tempering. These spices will give your dal that perfect flavor!

Mix Cooked Dal With  The Spices

Add the cooked dal to the tempering mixture and simmer for a few minutes. Adjust consistency with water as needed.

Serve Your Delicious  Dal Fry Hot!

Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with steamed rice or roti. Enjoy your flavorful, comforting Dal Fry!
