Methi (fenugreek) adds a unique, slightly bitter flavor to rice. This quick, nutritious dish is perfect for lunch or dinner
Basmati rice Methi Onion ,Tomato Green chilies Frozen peas Ginger garlic paste Whole spices: cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, bay leaf, and peppercorn. Spice powders: red chili , garam masala , turmeric powder. Salt , oil
Heat ghee in a pan, then add cumin seeds, finely chopped onions, ginger, garlic, and green chilies ,tomatoes Sauté until golden brown, releasing a fragrant aroma.
Add salt, red chili powder, garam masala , and turmeric powder.frozen peas, and cook until the tomatoes are soft.
Add fresh methi leaves to the pan. Stir and cook for a couple of minutes until the leaves wilt down
Add rinsed and drained basmati rice, 2 ½ cups water, and bay leaf and mix well. Press cancel and close the lid.
Serve warm, and enjoy this healthy, flavorful rice dish! Pair it with raita or a side of pickle for the perfect meal
