Learn how to make flavorful Palak (Spinach) Rice quick, nutritious, and perfect for lunch or dinner
Basmati rice Fresh spinach Onion ,Tomato Green chilies Ginger garlic paste Whole spices: cloves, cinnamon sticks, bay leaf, cumin seed Turmeric ,cashew Salt , oil
Blanch spinach leaves briefly, then blend with green chilies and garlic to make a smooth puree.
Heat oil/ghee, sauté whole spices and onions , cashew till golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté.
Add the spinach puree and sauté for a minute
Drain the rice and add it to the pan Add 3 cups of water along with salt to taste and 2 teaspoon lime juice and mix gently.
