Learn how to make delicious and aromatic Vegetable Biryani a one pot wonder bursting with flavor
Basmati rice Onion ,Tomato Yogurt Ginger-garlic paste Biryani masala Mint, coriander, saffron Mixed vegetables : carrot, beans, peas, potatoes Whole spices : cinnamon, cardamom, cloves ,bay leaf ,star anise Salt , oil
Rinse and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes. This helps it cook evenly and stay fluffy.
A bowl Add the sautéed vegetables add yogurt ,ginger garlic paste, green chili .biryani masala golden fried onions, lemon juice, coriander leaves, mint, salt, and vegetable oil.
Add onions, ginger garlic paste, tomatoes ,Add the marinated vegetables in a heavy bottom pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes.
Cook The Rice
Soak basmati rice for 20–30 mins. Cook until 80% done. Drain and set aside to cool.
Add the marinated vegetables in a heavy bottom pan and layer rice and Sprinkle ghee, mint, coriander ,fried cashew, onion and saffron milk between layers.
Cover the pan tightly with a lid. Keep a griddle over a very low flame. Keep the pan over the griddle and let the biryani cook for 15-20 minutes
Fluff gently and serve hot with raita or salad. A wholesome meal that’s full of flavor and aroma
