Rava Curd Green chilies Ghee ,salt Mixed vegetables : onion, carrot, capsicum Mustard seeds Curry leaves Salt & water, Eno fruit salt
Heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, add chopped curry leaves & green chilies. Mix this tempering into the batter for extra flavor
1 cup of fine rava to the pan and roast it until slightly browned (3-4 minutes).
Transfer the cooled roasted rava to a large mixing bowl. Add plain yogurt and grated carrot Add water and mix well.
The rava will absorb the water during resting, and water to the batter and mix well. You need an idli-like batter to make the appe. Now add 1 teaspoon ENO fruit salt and ½ salt and mix well.
Grease the appe pan, pour batter in each mould. Cook on low medium flame, flipping to ensure both sides are golden brown
Cover the pan with a lid and cook until the appe are golden brown from the bottom Flip with the help of a spoon and cook uncovered from the other side for 2-3 minutes
Serve your hot Rava Appes with coconut chutney or sambar. Perfect for breakfast, lunchbox, or evening snack
