Gujarati Veg Handvo Recipe Crispy & Fluffy Must Try

 Craving a healthy snack? Try Vegetable Handvo,  a spiced lentil and rice cake loaded with veggies   a Gujarati favorite

Ingredients You’ll Need for Vegetable Handvo Recipe 

Rice  Mixed dals  Grated bottle gourd  Green chilies  Carrot, curd   Grated ginger  Spices powder: carom seeds, cumin seeds,  red chili ,turmeric powder  Salt, Eno, oil Curry leaves  Mustard  ,sesame 

 Prepare The Batter 

 In a bowl, mix handvo flour and plain yogurt. Add ½ cup water to .idli batter consistency. Cover and keep it aside for about 2-3  

 Add Species

 After the batter has rested for atleast couple of hours add red chilli powder, carom , cumin seeds, sugar, turmeric and fruit salt  and mix.

 Add Veggies 

 Next add the grated carrot, bottle gourd, ginger, green chilli and coriander leaves. 

 Cook Golden & Crisp 

 Pour batter into a greased pan. Add tempering on top and cook covered on low flame or bake at 180°C until crisp and golden.

 Serve Hot With Chutney 

 Cut into slices and enjoy with green chutney or ketchup. Crispy outside, soft inside perfect for breakfast or evening snacks
