The Tradition of Sabudana Vada A Fasting Favorite

 Get ready to make crispy, golden Sabudana Vadas a perfect snack for fasting or anytime cravings

Ingredients You’ll Need  For Sabudana Vada 

Sabudana Peanuts Potato Green chili  Salt   Oil Coriander

 Soak The Sabudana 

 Soak sabudana in water for 4-5 hours or overnight until soft.

Step 1

 Boil  Potatoes 

 Using a stovetop pressure cooker, cook 2 medium potatoes in water for 2 to 3 whistles until they are tender. 

Step 2

 Dry roast ¼ cup of raw peanuts in a pan on medium heat till they get brown spots

 

Step 3

 Roasted Peanuts 

Mix All Ingredients  

 Combine the soaked sabudana, mashed potatoes, ground peanuts, green chili, red chili powder, ground cumin, lemon juice, salt, and sugar. Mix everything thoroughly by hand

Step 4

 Shape Into Patties 

 Make small round vada shapes with your hands 

Step 5

 Fry the patties in medium hot oil til they turn gloden brown 

Step 6

 Fry Vadas Until Golden
