Whole wheat flour Medium-sized radish (mooli) grated, Cumin seeds, Ajwain (carom seeds) Red chili powder Salt to taste Fresh coriander leaves, Water for dough Ghee or oil for cooking
Grate the radish (mooli) and squeeze out any excess water. In a bowl, mix the grated mooli with cumin, ajwain, red chili powder, salt, and chopped coriander. This spicy filling is what makes the paratha so flavorful!
In a separate bowl, combine whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt. Gradually add water and knead the flour into a smooth, soft dough. Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes for best results.
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a small circle, then place a spoonful of the mooli mixture in the center. Fold the dough around the filling, seal it, and gently roll it into a flat paratha.
Heat a tawa or skillet on medium heat. Place the stuffed paratha onto the hot tawa and cook each side for 1-2 minutes until golden and crispy. Brush with ghee or oil for extra flavor.
