Basmati rice Lemon Oil or ghee Green chilies Peanuts Curry leaves Mustard seeds Chana dal ,urad dal Turmeric, Salt Cashew nuts
Cook rice and let it cool completely. Use leftover rice or fresh rice that’s cooled to avoid stickiness
Rice is add the salt and ½ tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix everything and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, then chana dal, urad dal, green chilies & curry leaves. Sauté till golden.
Add turmeric powder for color and earthy flavor. Toss in roasted peanuts or cashews for a crunchy bite
Add the cooled rice to the pan. Sprinkle salt and mix gently so the tempering coats the rice evenly.
Serve warm or pack it in a lunchbox. Perfect with pickle, curd, or papad. Light, quick, and delicious every time
