Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside learn how to make Farali Pattice, a popular fasting (vrat) treat
Peanuts Boiled potatoes Coconut Raisins Green chilies Coriander, Sendha namak Ghee or oil Sugar Arrowroot flour
Mix grated coconut, peanuts, green chilies, coriander, raisins, and salt. This adds a burst of flavor inside every pattice
Add mashed potatoes, arrowroot powder, and rock salt or sendha namak in another mixing bowl. Mix all the ingredients till well combined
Take a portion, flatten it, add filling, and seal into a round or oval shape.
Coat the ball in the arrowroot powder. Remove excess powder by rotating the ball between your fingers.
Shallow fry the pattices in ghee or oil on medium heat until both sides are golden and crispy
Serve & Enjoy Hot!
Serve hot with vrat friendly green chutney or curd. Ideal for Navratri, Ekadashi, or any fasting day
