Soak the Sabudana Right!

Soak the sabudana in water for 4-6 hours or overnight. Ensure the grains are soft but not soggy  this step is crucial for a perfect Thalipeeth!

Mash the Boiled Potato

Boil one potato until soft, peel and mash it well. This adds moisture and binding to the Thalipeeth dough, making it crispy yet soft inside.

In a bowl, mix the soaked sabudana, mashed potato, buckwheat flour, cumin, and spices. Knead into a soft dough. Adjust salt and spices to your taste!

Divide the dough into small portions. Roll each portion into a ball and gently flatten it into a round shape on a greased parchment paper or your palms. Create a hole in the center.
