Gather Your Ingredients: Broccoli, Cheddar Cheese, Onion, Garlic, Vegetable Broth, Milk, Butter, Flour, And Seasonings. Simple Ingredients, Big Flavor!
Chop The Broccoli Into Florets, Removing Any Tough Stems. This Will Cook Quickly In The Soup, Adding A Fresh, Vibrant Flavor.
In A Large Pot, Saute Chopped Onions And Garlic In Butter Until Soft And Fragrant. This Step Adds Depth To The Flavor Of Your Soup.
Stir In Flour To Create A Roux, Which Chickens The Soup. Cook For A Couple Of Minutes Until It’s Golden, Then Slowly Add Vegetable Broth, Whisking To Combine.
Add Your Chopped Broccoli To The Pot Along With The Broth Mixture. Simmer Until The Broccoli Is Tender, About 15-20 Minutes.
