Gather these basic ingredients: Chicken breasts, pasta (penne or spaghetti), garlic, olive oil, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and some herbs like basil or parsley.
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices. Sauté in olive oil until golden brown and cooked through. Slice into thin strips.
Boil your pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside. Remember to save a cup of pasta water for the sauce!
In the same pan, sauté garlic in olive oil, then add heavy cream. Let it simmer until thickened. Stir in parmesan cheese and a bit of pasta water for the perfect texture.
