How to Make Chocolate Ice Cream in Minutes

Learn how to whip up creamy, delicious chocolate ice cream in just a few minutes with this simple recipe. No ice cream maker needed!

Ingredients You’ll Need 

Heavy cream   Sweetened condensed milk  Cocoa powder (unsweetened)  Vanilla extract  Chocolate chips   

Mix the Cream and Milk 

In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of heavy cream and 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk until smooth. This is the creamy base for your ice cream. 

Step 1

Add Cocoa Powder 

Sift ½ cup of cocoa powder into the mixture. Stir until the cocoa powder is fully dissolved, creating a smooth chocolate base. 

Step 2

Add Vanilla Extract 

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor. Mix it well into the chocolate cream mixture.

Step 3

Fold in Chocolate Chips (Optional)

For extra chocolatey goodness, fold in ¼ cup of chocolate chips or chunks. This adds texture and richness to your ice cream.

Step 4

Whisk Until Fluffy 

Using a whisk or electric mixer, beat the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes. This step will give your ice cream a smooth texture.

Step 5

Freeze Your Ice Cream 

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or ice cube tray. Cover and freeze for at least 3- 4 hours, or until fully set. For best results, freeze overnight.

Step 6

Scoop and Serve 

After freezing, scoop out your homemade chocolate ice cream. Serve it in bowls or cones, and enjoy!
