Vermicelli Upma is a savory, quick, and healthy South Indian breakfast dish made with vermicelli, vegetables, and aromatic spices. It’s light yet filling perfect for any time of the day.

Vermicelli Mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans) Mustard seeds Curry leaves Green chilies Cashews & urad dal Turmeric powder Salt . oil ,Water
Dry roast the vermicelli in a pan until it turns a light golden brown. This step prevents clumping and adds a wonderful toasted flavor.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, and green chilies. Sauté until the spices release their fragrance and splutter
Add water to the pan along with salt Bring the water to a boil to enhance the flavors of the spices and vegetables
Add the roasted vermicelli to the boiling water. Stir well and cook covered for 3-4 minutes until the vermicelli absorbs all the water and becomes soft.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and cashews for a delightful crunch. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Vermicelli Upma with coconut chutney or as is!
