Light, Nourishing & Delicious Dal Khichdi Bowl

 Dal Khichdi is the perfect blend of rice, lentils, and spices. It’s a nourishing meal that’s both delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients You’ll Need   For Dal Khichdi

Moong dal  Rice Veggies Ginger, garlic   Ghee, turmeric,  salt, curry leave, Cumin , muster seed , red chili , coriander

Wash The Rice & Dal 

Begin by washing 1 cup rice and ½ cup moong dal. Make sure they’re clean before you proceed to the next step.

Heat Spices In Ghee 

 Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and freshly grated ginger. Sauté until fragrant for a warm, flavorful aroma. 

Add Veggies For Extra Flavor 

 Throw in some chopped vegetables like carrots, peas, or potatoes for added nutrition and taste. Let them cook with the mixture 

 Add Rice & Dal To The Pot 

 Add the washed rice and dal to the pan with the spices. Stir everything well to combine the flavors before cooking. 

 Add Water &  Cook 

 Add 4 cups of water to the pot. Let it cook on medium heat until the rice and dal become soft and mushy. Stir occasionally
