A comforting bowl of red lentil dal packed with flavor and ready in no time. Perfect for busy weeknights
Masoor Dal Onion Tomato Ginger-garlic paste Spices: Cumin, turmeric, red chili, garam masala, mustard seeds Salt & oil Fresh coriander
Rinse and soak Masoor dal for 30 minutes
Boil with water, turmeric, and a pinch of salt until soft and creamy.
Add ginger garlic onion and chilli paste in to the hot oil. Sauté the mixture for 6-8 minutes
then add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder and garam masala. Saute for around 30-40 seconds.

Add the cooked dal to the masala. Mix well and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes. Add water to adjust consistency
For extra flavor, temper mustard seeds, garlic, and dry red chilies in ghee and pour over the dal. Sizzle time
Garnish with coriander. Enjoy your masoor dal with hot steamed rice or soft rotis. Pure comfort in every bite
