Learn how to make delicious and aromatic Mushroom Biryani at home in just a few easy steps. Perfect for lunch or dinner
Basmati rice Mushrooms, Onion ,Tomato Yogurt Green chilies Ginger garlic paste Whole spices: cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, bay leaf, and peppercorn. Spice powders: biryani masala , garam masala , red chili Salt , oil
Soak rice for 30 mins, then cook until 90% done. Drain and keep aside. This ensures perfect, fluffy biryani
Heat oil and ghee in a pot. Add the whole spices, cashew, sliced onions, garlic, and ginger continue to saute for another 5 to 6 minutes
In ghee or oil, sauté mushrooms until golden and cook for 3 minutes
Add yogurt, turmeric, salt, chile powder, and garam masala powder, biryani masala Mix and cook this for a minute
cooked rice and spread it gently in the pot. To this, add fresh herbs on top and drizzle one tablespoon of ghee or butter for extra flavor.
Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 mins. This allows all the flavors to blend beautifully.
Fluff up gently and serve hot with raita or salad. Enjoy the rich, earthy flavor in every bite!
