Ingredients
- 1 pack (8 ounces) Mascarponecheese
- 1 Cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 Cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp Ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp Ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp Ground black pepper
- 1/2 Cup Strong brewed chai tea,cooled to room temperature
- 1/4 Cup Rum or coffee liqueur (optional)
- 1 pack Ladyfinger biscuits orsponge cake
- Cocoa powder or grated chocolate, for dusting
2. Add Spices:
In a small bowl, mixtogether ground cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and black pepper. Add thisspice mixture to the cooled chai tea and stir well to combine. Set aside.
Preparing the Mascarpone Cream:
3. Whip Mascarpone Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl,combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.Use an electric mixer or stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment to whipuntil smooth and creamy. Start on low speed and gradually increase to medium-highuntil stiff peaks form.
5. Layer Mascarpone Cream:
Cover the dish or glasseswith plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, or preferablyovernight, to allow the flavors to meld and the tiramisu to set.
