How to make Chicken Manchurian
1. Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix the chicken pieces with soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste, cornflour, all-purpose flour, beaten egg, and salt. Ensure the chicken pieces are evenly coated. Let it marinate for 20-30 minutes
3. Prepare the Sauce:
In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Add chopped garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute until fragrant. Add chopped onions and capsicum. Stir-fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly softened but still crunchy.
4. Make the Sauce:
Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce (if using), vinegar, sugar, and salt to the pan. Mix well. Pour in 1 cup of water and let the sauce come to a simmer.
