Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 4 Boiled eggs
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 Green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 Cup Green peas (optional)
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp  Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp  Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Cooking oil

Instructions

Instructions:

    1. Boil the Eggs:

    • Start by boiling the eggs until they are hard-boiled. Once boiled, peel the eggs and set them aside.

    2. Prepare the Masala:

    • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
    • Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies to the pan. Sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears.

    3. Add Tomatoes:

    • Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they turn soft and mushy.

    4. Spice it Up:

    • Now, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt to the pan. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.

    5. Add Green Peas (Optional):

    • If using green peas, add them to the pan and cook for a few minutes.

    6. Prepare the Egg Mixture:

    • Cut the boiled eggs into halves or quarters and add them to the masala in the pan. Gently mix everything together.

    8. Simmer:

    • Let the egg mixture simmer for a few minutes, allowing the flavors to blend well.

    9. Garnish and Serve:

    • Garnish the Egg Keema with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, roti, or bread.
