For the Marination:

  • 200 grams Paneer (cubed)
  • 1/2 Cups Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • Salt to taste

For the Filling:

  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Medium onion (sliced)
  • 1 Medium bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 Medium tomato (sliced)
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • Salt to taste

For the Rolls:

  • 4 Rotis or tortillas
  • 1 Cups Shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • 1 Small carrot (grated)
  • Chutney or sauce of your choice (green chutney, mint yogurt, ketchup)
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

Instructions:

    1. Marinate the Paneer:

    • In a bowl, mix yogurt,ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
    • Add the paneer cubes andcoat them well with the marinade.
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

    2. Prepare the Filling:

    • Heat oil in a pan overmedium heat.
    • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
    • Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
    • Add sliced bell pepper andtomato. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
    • Add coriander powder, cuminpowder, and salt. Mix well.
    • Add the marinated paneercubes and cook for 5-7 minutes until the paneer is well-cooked and the spicesare well blended.
    • Remove from heat and set aside.

    3. Assemble the Rolls:

    • Warm the rotis or tortillason a pan or microwave.
    • Spread a little chutney orsauce on each roti/tortilla.
    • Place a portion of the paneer filling in the center.
    • Top with shredded lettuceor cabbage and grated carrot.
    • Roll the roti/tortillatightly around the filling, folding in the sides as you go to secure thefilling.
    • Serve the Paneer Rolls hot with lemon wedges and extra chutney or sauce on the side.
