Ingredients:
- 1 Cups Soy chunks
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 Large onion, finely chopped
- 1 Bell pepper (capsicum),chopped
- 1-2 Green chilies, slit (adjust to taste)
- 2-3 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Inch ginger piece, minced
- 2 Tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Chili sauce
- 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp Vinegar (optional)
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp Cornflour (cornstarch) mixed with 2tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish (optional)
2. Cook Vegetables:
Heat oil in a large pan orwok over medium heat.
Add the chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
Add the minced garlic andginger. Sauté for another minute until fragrant.
3. Add Tomatoes and Spices:
Stir in the choppedtomatoes and cook until they soften and blend into the mixture.
Add soy sauce, chili sauce ,tomato ketchup, vinegar (if using), sugar, black pepper, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.
4. Combine Soy Chunks:
Add the prepared soy chunksand chopped bell pepper to the pan. Stir well to coat the soy chunks with thesauce and spices.
Cook for about 5-7 minutes,allowing the soy chunks to absorb the flavors and the bell pepper to soften.
5. Thicken Sauce (Optional):
