    2. Set Up the Steamer:

    • Fill a pot with a fewinches of water and place a steamer basket or rack inside. Ensure that the waterlevel is below the bottom of the steamer basket to prevent the sweet potatoesfrom sitting in the water.

    3. Steam the Sweet Potatoes:

    • Place the sweet potatoes in the steamer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You can steam them in batches if needed.
    • Cover the pot with a lidand bring the water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat tomedium and steam the sweet potatoes for 20-25 minutes.
