Instructions
Marinate the Fish
In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices like turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. You can adjust the spice level to your taste
Cut your fish (like salmon or cod) into bite-sized pieces and toss them in the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or even longer for deeper flavor.
Cook the Fish
You have a few options here! You can thread the marinated fish onto skewers
Grill them on medium-high heat for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through
Bake them in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through
If you don't have skewers, simply place the fish pieces on a baking tray and cook them in the oven following the same instructions
Once the fish is cooked through and nicely browned, serve it hot with a squeeze of lemon juice and your favorite dipping sauce, like mint chutney or raita. You can also enjoy it with rice or naan bread.
