4Fish fillets (such as tilapia, pomfret, or any firm white fish)

1tspGaram masala
1tspCumin powder
1tspCoriander powder
1tspGinger-garlic paste
1tspMustard seeds
2tbspOil (for cooking)

1. Marinate the Fish:
Rinse the fish fillets andpat them dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, combine lemonjuice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, corianderpowder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt.
Rub this mixture evenly over the fish fillets. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15-30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
2. Prepare the Tawa:
Heat a tawa (griddle) ornon-stick pan over medium heat.
Add 2 tablespoons of oiland let it heat up. You can also use ghee for a richer flavor.
3. Cook the Fish:
Once the oil is hot, placethe marinated fish fillets on the tawa.
Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is golden brown and cooked through. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
Press gently with a spatula to ensure even cooking and a crisp texture.
4. Finish and Serve:
Once the fish is cooked,remove it from the tawa and place it on a serving plate.
